Join other LGBTQ+ young people from 14-23 years old this summer for a series of free events and activities.
Throughout July and August, Belong To will host workshops, events and activities in Dublin City Centre, including:
Self-Care Summer – Wellness Week (15th – 19th July)

More than ‘little treats’ and matcha lattes – discover how to really care for yourself and your wellbeing.
Along with Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, we will explore how to proactively mind your mental health and look after your wellbeing in an open and caring way. We know that young LGBTQ+ people can experience higher levels mental health difficulties. Learn together with other young people simple actions that you can take every day to help.
Belong to the Team – Sports Week (22nd – 26th July)

Join Belong To this summer to get up, get out and get active with other LGBTQ+ young people!
We have lots of activities and events planned for everyone to get involved and belong, including a tour of the Bohemian’s Dalymount Park and a BMX bike session. No matter what your interest or whether you’re a beginner or a pro – this is all about fun, friendship and teamwork.
Climate Justice – Sustainability Week (29th July – 2nd August)

It’s our earth, and our community. Sustainability and climate action is everyone’s responsibility and at Belong To, we know LGBTQ+ young people are passionate about climate justice.
Together with our youth workers, guest speakers and you, we’re going to explore this theme and develop ways that we can all take action.
Casting All: The Abbey Theatre x Belong To – Theatre Week (12th – 16th August)

Ready to take to the stage?
We’re so excited to once again partner with the Abbey Theatre, Ireland’s National Theatre, for our LGBTQ+ Youth Drama Program. Join us for a week of workshops, improvisation, drama skills and scene development. Throughout the week, you will work together with other LGBTQ+ young people to write and perform your own original piece – on the stage of Ireland’s national theatre!
Get the Facts, Stay Safe (19th – 23rd August)

Join us for a week of activities focused on keeping you safe and informed around important topics like sex, alcohol and drugs.
These activities will be provided to specific age groups to make sure you get the information that you need in an age-appropriate way, and in a way that feels comfortable for you. Our harm reduction week features fun and engaging workshops where you can learn more about LGBTQ+-specific sexual health and drug and alcohol use – and how to stay safe. Have fun, meet other young LGBTQ+ people and develop your skills from theatre to sport.
All events will be supervised by our experienced Youth Workers at Belong To. Parental consent to attend is required for those under 18 years.
