Kildare Youth Services
KLGBT Youth Group is a drop in centre run by Kildare Youth Services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) young people 14-21 years of age. This Drop In Centre is free of charge for young people from County Kildare and surrounding areas. It takes place every Saturday from 4-5:30pm in Kildare Youth Services, Charlotte Mall, Newbridge (beside Hoky Poky Coffee Shop).
Our new Trans Youth Group is for ages 14-21 as well and takes place beforehand every Saturday from 2-3:30pm at the same location.
The Drop In Centre is a safe place for young people to hang and discuss the LGBT+ community with their peers in a safe environment with support from members of the KYS Youth Work Team and trained volunteers.
Young people will have the opportunity to use facilities such as X-box 360, pool, board games, computers and also have the opportunity to hang out with your friends and meet new young LGBT+ people.
