Feel free to look around
Looking after your sexual health is an important part of life.
Find out all about sexual health thanks to the Irish Family Planning Association.
Safer sex with women and men
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are infections that are passed on from an infected partner(s) during unprotected sex (vaginal, anal and oral). They are caused by specific bacteria and viruses. In some cases, you may be at risk even if you don’t have full sex. Kissing and touching each other’s genitals may pass on some STIs.
Infections are out there, be vigilant about your sexual health to avoid contracting any of these...
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. When HIV enters the bloodstream it begins to attack the immune system. Your body then produces antibodies to fight off infection.
If you think you maybe pregnant you need to see a medical professional to find out for sure if you’re pregnant or not and to get advice. It may help to talk things over with your partner, a close friend or a family member.
